Important safety instructions
Do not overload wall outlets or
extension cords. Overload can cause
fire or electric shock.
Do not insert any objects through the
openings on the appliance, where they
could touch dangerous voltage points or
damage parts. Never spill any fluid on
the monitor.
Protect the antenna cable between the
inside and outside of the building so that
no rainwater flows in.
- Otherwise water could enter the monitor
and cause electric shock.
Ground external antennas. If an outside antenna or a cable system is connected to the appliance, the antenna or the cable
system must be grounded so as to provide protection against voltage surges and built-up static charges. Section 810 of
the National Electrical Code, ANSI/-NFPA No. -1984-provides information about proper grounding of the antenna mast
and its supports, grounding of the lead wire to an antenna discharge unit, size of the grounding conductors, location of
antenna discharge unit, the connection to grounding electrodes and requirements for the grounding electrode.
Do not place an external antenna near overhead
power lines, light and power circuits.
This may cause an electric shock.
There should be sufficient distance between an external antenna
and power lines so that the power lines are not touched even if
the antenna were to collapse some time. .
This may cause an electric shock.
Do not attempt to service the monitor yourself. Refer all repairs to qualified service personnel.
Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet and consult Customer Service under the following
conditions:
If the power cord or plug is damaged.
If liquid was splashed on the appliance or objects have fallen into the appliance
If the monitor was exposed to rain or water.
- If the monitor does not work properly in spite of following the operating instructions.
- If the monitor had fallen down or the housing has been damaged.
- If the monitor exhibits a distinct drop in performance.
