Important safety instructions
If replacement parts are required for
repairs, make sure that the service
customer service technician carrying out
these repairs also uses the parts which
have been expressly recommended by
the manufacturer or have exactly the
same characteristics as the original
parts.
Unauthorized spare parts can cause
further damage to the appliance.
After every repair or servicing on this
monitor, ask the customer service
technician to carry out a safety check to
establish that the monitor is in a safe
operating condition.
If you make adjustments yourself,
adjust only those controls that are
covered in the operating instructions.
Adjusting other controls may damage
the appliance and often require
extensive work by a qualified technician
to restore the monitor to normal.
Use only the specified batteries.

.
The distance between the eyes and the
screen should always be at least 5-7
times the diagonal length of the screen.
- If not, you will strain your eyes.
If moving the monitor together with the
add-on speakers, do not hold on to the
speakers for carrying.
Otherwise the monitor can topple down
and cause injuries to a child or adult as
well as material damages.
Avoid having a fixed image remain on
the screen for a long period. There is a
risk of burning the image, for example a
frozen frame from a video cassette or a
film in the 4:3-format or if a CH label is
present; the image may be permanently
burned on the screen.
