6. Plug the DC cord of the AC adapter to the power connector ( ) of the
tablet PC (
). Plug the female end of the AC power cord to the AC
adapter and the male end to an electrical outlet (
).
7. Power is being supplied from the electrical outlet to the AC adapter and
onto your tablet PC. Now, you are ready to turn on the tablet PC.
8. When the AC adapter is connected, it also charges the battery pack. The
Battery Charge Indicator ( ) on the tablet PC glows amber to indicate
that charging is in progress. When the battery is fully charged, the
Battery Charge Indicator glows green. (For information on using battery
power, see Chapter 3.)
