4 Monitoring status
GFI MailEssentials enables monitoring of your email activity in real time or by generating reports of
email activity for a particular time period.

Description
Dashboard The GFI MailEssentials Dashboard provides real time information that enables you to monitor the product.
To access the Dashboard, go to GFI MailEssentials > Dashboard. This includes:
Important statistical information about blocked emails. For more information, refer to Status and
statistics (page 46).
Status of GFI MailEssentials services. For more information, refer to Services (page 47).
Graphical presentation of email activity. For more information, refer to Charts (page 48).
List of emails processed. For more information, refer to Email processing logs (page 49).
Status of software updates. For more information, refer to Antivirus and anti-spam engine updates
(page 51).
Log of POP2Exchange activities. For more information, refer to POP2Exchange activity (page 52).
Reports GFI MailEssentials enables you to create reports based on data logged to database.
To access Reporting, go to GFI MailEssentials > Reporting.

The GFI MailEssentials Dashboard provides real time information that enables you to monitor the
product. To access the Dashboard, go to GFI MailEssentials > Dashboard. This includes:
