7. Testing the adjustment of the quick-release lever:
If the quick-release lever does not close tightly enough:
WARNING Danger from falls and accidents
If the lever cannot move in its nal position (90° to the hub axle) because the pre-tension is too
great, it is possible that the lever will become loose of its own accord while you are riding the
bike, so that the front wheel also becomes loose. This can lead to dangerous riding situations,
falls and accidents.
Open the quick-release lever.
Tighten the nut slightly in a clockwise direction.
Close the quick-release lever.
If the quick-release lever closes too tightly:
