4) During the setting mode, Press “Stop” button to exit menu setting, a beep can
be heard to validate the setting.

9.2 About Mailboxes
l This DAM has three voice mailboxes.(Mailbox 1, Mailbox2, Mailbox3)
l Each mailbox has its own LED.
l If the mailbox has messages that have been played, its LED will be solid red.
l If it has new message, the corresponding LED is blinking.
l If it has no message, the corresponding LED is turn off.
l Callers using a corded telephone can select the mailbox in which their
messages will be recorded by pressing *1, *2 or *3 while the DAM plays the
outgoing announcement. All other messages will be recorded in mailbox
l The default setting is mailbox 1.
l If an incoming call comes during Mailbox recording/playback, the unit will
be stop recording or playing mode automatically and start to ring.
l When the DAM announces “please select a mailbox”, press the other keys
should be disabled except press Mailbox1, Mailbox 2, or Mailbox3 button.
l If the built-in phone line is connected during any mailbox mode, the unit
should be exit mailbox mode automatically and go to talk mode.
9.2.1 Record a memo
You can record a memo message to the answering machine for later review or for
your families.
1) In standby mode, press Rec/memo key, the DAM announces “ please select a
mailbox”.
2) Press a Mailbox button to select a mailbox for the memo, it will announce
“now recording” a beep, After the beep, speak loudly toward the microphone.
The 7-segments LED displays the length of your memo from “0 ” to “59 ”.

3) Press “Stop” button to end the recording, the 7-segment LED will indicate the
number of total new messages with flashing digits.
