10) During announcement playing, if send an incoming call to the unit, the
playing will be stop automatically, and start to ring. If press handset “Talk”
button to take the line, the recording will be cancelled automatically.
9.3.1 Record your announcement (OGM)
If you have assigned different mailboxes to different people, be sure to tell callers
in your announcement to press * 1, * 2, * 3 while the announcement is playing to
leave a message in the appropriate mailbox, remember to leave a few seconds
blank at the end of your recorded announcement to allow callers time to select a
mailbox.
l Record an answering announcement (OGM1)
1) Make sure answering machine is on and announces only is OFF.
2) Press Menu until you hear “announcement one”and LED display “A1”.
3) Press REC/memo button, the unit will start recording announce “now
recording” followed by a beep. The 2 digits 7-segment LED will indicate
elapsed recording time in seconds, counting from “0 ” to “ 59 ”.
4) Press Stop button to stop recording with a beep and the recorded OGM will be
played automatically.
5) If the recorded time is less than 3 seconds, DAM will announce “ Message was
not recorded. Please record longer message again”.
6) If memory becomes full while recording, DAM will announce “Memory is
full” and stop the recording.
7) If you don’t stop the recording within 60 seconds, the recording will be
stopped automatically after 60 seconds and it will be playback at once.
l Record an answer only announcement (OGM2)
1) Make sure answering machine is on and announces only is ON.
2) Press “ Menu” until you hear “announcement two” and the 7-segment LED
display “A2”.
