Attaching the Belt Clip (optional accessories)
1.Align the belt clip post with the hole in the back of the interphone
2.Genetly push until the clip clicks into place
Removing the Belt Clip
1. Push down on the release tab at the top of the belt clip to release the catch
2. Pull the belt clip away from the back of the radio.
Turning Your Radio On And Off
To turn on, press and hold.
Button until the radio chirps and the display all feature
icons that your radio has available for a brief period. The display will show the channel 1 -
22 and interference eliminator code 0 - 38. To turn off, press and hold.
Button until the
display blank.
Setting the volume
When power up, Press
or button to adjust your volume to a comfortable listening
level. When setting volume, there is a “V” in the display.
Talking and Listening
1 To communicate all radios in your group must be set to the same channel and interference
Eliminator Code.
2.To talk, press and hold . Hold the radio 2 to 3 inches away from your mouth when
talking.
3.When you finish talking, release (press to talk, release to listen)
Checking the Channel Before Transmitting
Your radio has multiple channels shared on a “take turns” basis. For uninterrupted
communication, do not talk on a channel if someone else is currently talking on it. To check
for activity on a channel before you talk, press and hold . If you hear static, the channel is
clear to use..
Setting a channel
The channel is the frequency your radio uses to transmit. Your radio has 22 channels.
Channel 1-7 and 15 –22 are 1 watt. Channels 8 – 15 are 0.5 watt.
