Hat Furring Channel is a ceiling & Wall framing member for drywall
Installation: Hat Furring Channel is a ceiling and wall furring channel for framing members to
Receive Screw-Attached Gypsum Panel Products. The product may be attached to framing by # 9
x 1 ½” screws or 10d nails in an opposing manor directly across from each other into the structures
framing approx. 16” or 24” O.C.
Features: The product features hemmed edges and knurling to ensure positive screw location and
eliminate wandering.
Material; : This product is available in 25, and 20 gauge made from galvanized coated steel for
added corrosion protection, so that they will last over the life of the structure.
Available in 12’ lengths, 10 pieces per bundle.
