Ridge Cap Ridge flashing for metal roofing and shingle roofs hips & ridges
Material: Ridge Caps are made from Galvalume coated steel for added corrosion protection. Manufactured to
last the life of the structure.
Installation: The Gibraltar ridge cap is placed on top of pre-glued closure strips (outside). A strip of butyl tape is
applied to the closure strip to improve weather tightness. The ridge cap is fastened by # 9 x 1-1/2 in. metal
roofing screws, in an opposing manor, directly across from each other into the high rib of the panel
approximately 6 in. O.C.
10 ft. lengths. 10 per bundle.
The ridge cap provides a crisp, classic look and a reliable reputation for shedding rain water.
