You can de-register any registered handset from your Gigaset C285.

Or: c~ Briefly press the Talk key c or Handsfree key d, and then enter the number. To cancel the dialing operation, press the End Call key a. Depending on the line settings of the used handset, the telephone selects the line.

You can then: u Press §§§§Clear§§§§§ to delete the character to the left of the cursor. u Insert characters to the left of the cursor. u Overwrite the (flashing) character when entering the time and date, etc.
