Switching the phone on and off

Enabling the display
The light of the display is switched off after 30 seconds (idle mode).
Enabling the display again:
¤ Press any key
Change the time for the display light:

Locking/unlocking the keypad
The keypad lock prevents any accidental use of the phone.
¤ Push up/down the switch for the keypad lock on the right-hand side of the
device
Keypad lock activated: The symbol is shown on the display
Switch on: ¤ When the phone is switched off, press and hold the
End call key
Switch off:
¤ When the phone is in idle, press and hold the End call key
If a call is indicated on the phone, the keypad automatically unlocks
and you can accept the call. It then locks again when the call is
finished.
It is also not possible to call emergency numbers when keypad lock
is enabled.
