Using the device

Entering text
Several letters and digits are assigned to each key between 2 and 9, and key
0. The characters available in each case are on the keys.
Select letters/digits:
¤ Press the key briefly several times in succession
Delete characters to the left of the cursor:
¤ Press the display key Delete
Switch between upper and lower case and enter digits (abc, Abc, ABC, 123):
¤ Press the Hash key
Entering special characters:
¤ Press the star key ¤ Select the special characters ¤ OK
Other options are available for writing an SMS (
