Enabling/disabling face unlocking
¤ Settings Security & location Face unlocking Enable/disable Unlock
screen with the switch . . . facial recognition is performed when you swipe from bottom to
top after the phone is switched on
Other settings
Face unlocking is enabled immediately once you switch the device on:
¤ Enable/disable Use facial recognition when screen active using the switch
For facial recognition to also work when it is dark, the screen lighting must be switched on:
¤ Enable/disable Activate screen lighting when dark with the switch
Vibration indicates when facial recognition fails:
¤ Enable/disable Vibration alarm with the switch
Screen pinning
When you pass on the smartphone to someone else, you can restrict its usage to a single app.
For this, you pin a certain view of this app.
Enabling/disabling screen pinning
¤ Settings Security & location Screen pinning Enable/disable the function
with the switch
¤ Use the switch to specify whether the PIN, pattern or password needs to be entered to unpin
the screen.
Pinning the screen
¤ Open the screen to be pinned Open the app overview with navigation button
Touch and hold the icon at the top in the app image Tap Pin . . . only this app can now be
used
Unpinning the screen
¤ Touch and hold at the same time the and Navigation buttons Enter the PIN, pattern
or password as required . . . The screen is unpinned
The details used for facial recognition are only stored on the device. The details can
not be accessed by apps and are not stored on Google servers.
