checksums.
7) 'disabled': DMX-512 transmission (Tx) and reception (Rx) dis-
abled.
The checksum is used to ensure veracity in data transmitted
or received by the BR-SmartMedia. Without it, the BR-SmartMedia
won't be able to recognize errors in the incoming data, and may
update the outputs with this bad data. It should be left ON when-
ever running from a PC•MACs or other DMX-512 source that sup-
ports this checksum. Sending the checksum out does not affect
any devices that don’t support it, so it is always best to leave the
Tx checksums ON for the benefit of the devices which do.
d) VT-52 Compatible Display: When this toggle is enabled, the BR-
SmartMedia will use special escape sequences to clear the
screen (<ESC>ape 'E'), clear the current line (<ESC>ape 'l'), or
position the cursor (<ESC>ape 'Y' ROW COLUMN). When disabled,
the BR-SmartMedia has to redraw the entire screen to change
any value, so it can save a good deal of screen redraw time if
you have a compatible display.

of each input. You can set a different action on the opening and
closing edge of each input. The options are:
a) Do Nothing: This input/edge will not be used.
b) Start: One or more sequencers are started on this edge.
You can specify which sequencer(s) are to be started, as
well as which show. If you are starting more than a single
sequencer, you should select ‘whatever is next’ instead of
specifying a specific show. Otherwise, the same show will
