In either of the Orpan modes, the first six axis of twelve bit analog data
are sent out through the serial port. This transmission is continuous, so this
mode is not suitable for general purpose serial communications applica-
tions.
The address of the first analog is always ‘01’. When you save the
AutoDownload files for using Orpan mode, always start with channel ‘00’
and use a ‘00’ AutoDownload offset. The difference between the two
modes is the order in which the bytes are sent.
a) DMX-512: Please refer to the MultiShow section of this manual.
b) Baud Rate: While using the BR-SmartMedia in Rexroth quick write
mode, the secondary serial port can be set to any of the avail-
able baud rates. Please refer to the MultiShow section of the man-
ual for additional information on this command.
c) Numbering System: Please refer to the MultiShow section of this
manual.
d) VT-52 Compatible Display: Please refer to the MultiShow section
of this manual.
