Moving
When you are moving your refrigerator or freezer to a new home, follow these steps to prepare it for the move.
1. Remove all food from the refrigerator or freezer.
2. Turn the control to the off position. See the “Using the Controls” section.
3. Unplug the refrigerator or freezer.
4. Empty water from the defrost pan.
5. Clean, wipe, and dry thoroughly.
6. Take out all removable parts, wrap them well, and tape them together so they don’t shift and rattle during the move.
7. Tape the doors shut and tape the power cord to the unit cabinet.
8. Unlock the casters to roll away the unit.
When you get to your new home, put everything back and refer to the “Installing Your Refrigerator or Freezer” section for preparation
instructions.
