- An Ad-Hoc wireless LAN is a group of computers, each equipped with one GL-241101 adapter, connected as an independent wireless LAN. Computers in a specific Ad-Hoc wireless LAN must be configured to share the same radio channel.

After successful installation of the GL-241101 and its driver, continue the installation process by
configuring the GL-241101 adapter properties. To configure the GL-241101 Adapter complete the
following steps :
1.
From the Control Panel, double-click the “Network” icon
2.
Select "PRISM2IEEE 802.11b PC Card Adapter" from the list and press the “Properties”
button.
3.
From the “Properties” menu please select the “Advanced” tab.
