- An Ad-Hoc wireless LAN is a group of computers, each equipped with one GL-241101 adapter, connected as an independent wireless LAN. Computers in a specific Ad-Hoc wireless LAN must be configured to share the same radio channel.

1.
Insert the PRISM Network Configuration Utility disk into an available floppy disk drive.
From the "Run" window type "A:\WL1100\WLU\setup.exe" (where "A" represents a floppy
disk drive).
2.
Click “Yes” to accept the License Agreement and continue with the installation.
3.
Click “Next”.
4.
Enter the System ID click “Next”.
