Met hod 2 : Add D e vice from H ist or y List
I f there are m ore t han 7 devices to find wit hin the radio range, you can add t he
device you have used t o t he orbit from the history device list . Click Tools M enu
and select Add De vice from H ist or y. The History dialog box will be pop- up
Select t he device from t he list and click Add, t he select ed device will be added t o
the end of the orbit . The shortcut key t o open the History dialog box is Ctrl+ H .
2 . 4 .2 Pa iring your deskt op or la pt op w ith a Bluet oot h D evice
Double click the rem ot e Bluet oot h device you want t o connect and you will be asked
to ent er t he Bluetoot h Passkey. Please type t he Bluetooth Passkey in the Passkey
field .
Meanwhile, there will be a Bluet ooth Passkey dialog box prom pt ed on t he rem ot e
lapt op or deskt op equipped wit h t he Bluet oot h device to ask you t o enter passkey.
The Bluetoot h passkey should be the sam e bet ween paired devices. I f the pairing
process succeeds, t here will be a red check on t he paired Bluetoot h device icon.
2 .5 St art Or St op A Bluet oot h Service Conne ct ion
2 . 5 .1 Search Blue t oot h Service
You can double click t he associat ed Bluet ooth device icon or right - click on the icon
and select Re fr esh Se rvice s to find the serv ice it provides. After service searching
finishes, t he services the rem ot e device supports and the corresponding service
icons on t he top of the m ain window will change to be pink color.
2 . 5 .2 St art A Rem ot e Bluet oot h Service Connect ion
You m ay right - clic k on t he connect ed Bluet ooth device, select Conne ct and
highlight t he service you w ant t o use .
Double click the pink profile icon (t he service icon) you want to connect on t he t op
of the Main Window.
Connection will be set up. Aft er connect ion is OK, t he rem ot e device and t he service
icon will t urn green.
2 . 5 .3 St op A Bluet oot h Service Connect ion
There are two ways t o st op t he service:
. Select a st arted service and right click the service. On t he popup m enu, select
St op Se rvice . The service icon turns white. The service is st opped.
. Select a st arted service. Select M y Services m enu and highlight St op Se rvice.
The service icon turns whit e. The service is stopped.
