Inspections, Simple Maintenance, and Repair
Oil Chain.
Every 6 months proceed as follows:
1. Lift the slicer and apply 3 to 4 drops of the supplied
lubricant to the oil chain (19) (Figure 24-1).
Do not use vegetable oil.
2. Wipe excess lubricant with a paper towel.
Knife Sharpening.
1. Sharpen the knife (16) periodically or at least once
every 6 months as described in Knife Sharpening.
