UN SEUL PÔLE
Pour les lumières allumées
à partir d'UN seul endroit.
La connexion unipolaire désigne un (1) luminaire actionné par un
(1) interrupteur. Pour ce type de connexion, le fil de navette (brun)
n’est pas requis.
Pour la rénovation :
1. Retirez du mur la plaque murale existante ainsi que les vis après avoir
mis l’alimentation hors tension
2. Retirez le gradateur existant du mur et apposez les étiquettes
autocollantes appropriées sur les fils (comprises dans la boite).
3. S’assurer que les fils suivants sont disponibles :
a. 1 fil de phase (noir)
b. 1 fil de mise à la terre (vert, ou jaune/vert)
c. 2 fils neutres (blanc)
d. 1 fil de charge (rouge)
4. Déconnectez le câblage de l’ancien boîtier.
5. Connecter l’interrupteur Wi-Fi aux fils existants :
a. Connecter le fil de mise à la terre (vert, A) de l’interrupteur à celui
du boitier d’interrupteur.
b. Connecter le fil de phase (noir, D) de l’interrupteur à celui du
panneau électrique.
c. Connecter les fils neutres (blanc, B) de l’interrupteur et du
luminaire à celui du panneau électrique.
d. Connecter le fil de charge (rouge, E) de l’interrupteur à celui du
luminaire.
6. Le fil de navette (brun, C) doit être couvert d’un capuchon de
connexion, même s’il n’est pas utilisé.
7. Rétablir l’alimentation au panneau électrique pour vérifier si
l’interrupteur fonctionne.
For retrofit applications.
1. Remove the existing wall plate and screws from the wall after having
turned off the power at the circuit breaker and tested
the outlet with a voltage tester.
2. Remove the existing switch from the wall and label the wires
with the appropriate stickers included in the box.
3) Ensure these wires are available
a. For Smart Switch:
i. Line (black
ii. Ground (green, or yellow/green
iii. Neutral (white) x2
iv. Load (red)
v. Traveler (Brown)
b. For Standard on/off switch:
i. Line (black
ii. Ground (green, or yellow/green
iii. Traveler (Brown)
4. Connect the Wi-Fi switch (model 50586) to the existing wiring (See
“Wiring Diagram”)
5. Connect the WI-FI on/off switch to the existing wiring:
a. Connect Ground (Green, A) wire on the switch to the Ground (green)
wire from the standard switch then to the Ground (Green) wire from the
breaker box.
b. Connect the Line (Black, D) wire on the switch to the Line (Black) wire
from the standard switch and then to the Line (Black) wire from the
breaker box.
c. Connect the Neutral (White, B) wire on the switch and the Neutral
(white) wire coming from the light to the Neutral (White) wire from the
breaker box.
d. Connect the Load (Red, E) wire on the switch to the Load (red) wire from
the light
e. Connect the Traveler (Brown, C) wire on the switch to the Traveler
(brown) wire from the existing switch.
6. Ensure the included wire nuts are securely fastened to each wire.
7. Restore power at the circuit breaker switch to test if the switch works.
8. Insert the new switch into the wall. Cover with the wall plate and screws
provided.
