The operation and explanation of each Database Utilities dialog button is described below:
Operation Explanation
Backup Database Makesanimmediatebackupofthemain,production,andsalesdatabaselesforthe
database selected on the left. The operation is the same as for an automatic backup. The
backup is created in the Backup folder under the folder where ScaleLink Pro 5 Lite was
installed.
Restore/Load Main
Database File
OpensaFileOpendialogtoselectthedatabaseletorestore.Theselectedleisloaded
andoverwritesthemaindatabaseleforthedatabaseselectedontheleft.
Note: The restored database le does not need to be a backup le. You can, for
example, use this function to load a database from another copy of
ScaleLink Pro 5 Lite, including older versions of SLP-V Lite.
CAUTION: All existing data in the active database is lost (overwritten). There is no way to
undo this operation.
