Important Information Control of Substances Hazardous to Health CE Label Under Section 6 of The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, we are required to provide information on substances hazardous to health. The CE label shows that the Atmosorb ventilation unit complies with the basic requirements of the following directives and guidelines: The adhesives and sealants used in this appliance are cured and give no known hazard in this state.
Important Information Operation The Atmosorb can only be used if all ventilation pipes are connected and the unit is closed. The Atmosorb unit must only be operated with the supplied filters installed. Regularly check whether the filters are dirty or damaged. We recommend to visually check the filters every 6 months and to replace them every 12 months, or after 2000 operating hours at the latest.
Important Information Cleaning The Atmosorbs casing can be cleaned using a mild liquid detergent with a damp cloth, then a dry cloth to polish. Do not use any form of abrasive or solvent cleaner as you may damage the paintwork. The filters on the Atmosorb or bypass, can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, DO NOT clean with water or any other liquid. See section "Cleaning the Filters". Recycling and Disposal The Atmosorb as well as the packaging, consist mainly of recyclable raw materials.
Ventilation/Heat Recovery Unit Design Description Electrical Supply Failure The domestic ventilation unit consists of a central ventilation appliance for air exchange with heat recovery and a remote control. For summer operation, you can obtain a bypass as an accessory. It can directly provide living rooms with cool external air whenever it is necessary. The external air flow bypasses the heat exchanger.
Operating Instructions Intended Use The Glow-worm domestic ventilation units are built and designed according to accepted safety rules and regulations. Nevertheless, improper use can cause serious or fatal injury to the user or others, and the appliance or other property can be damaged. This device is not designed to be used by persons (including children) unless they are supervised by someone who is responsible for their safety or have been instructed how to use the device.
