PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Carefully remove the new xture from the carton as well as the yellow bag that holds all of the parts. See the important notes
above. Shut off power at the circuit breaker and remove old xture from wall, including the old mounting strap.
1. Mounting strap (B) contains several pairs of threaded holes and two sets of mounting screws (A & C). You may need to tighten hex
nuts (D) that hold screws (A) in place. Place mounting strap (B) up to your junction box. Place frame (G) over the mounting strap lining up
mounting screws (A) with the holes in frame (G). This will allow you to ensure that you are hanging the xture straight.
2. Pull the house wires through the center of mounting strap (B). Secure mounting strap (B) to the junction box with mounting screws (C)
and a screwdriver. Tighten the screws securely.
CONNECTING THE WIRES
3. Attach the xture’s wires to the exposed house wires from the junction box. Connect black (hot) to smooth/black/written text on wire/
transparent wire; white (neutral) to ribbed/white/transparent wire; ground (green) to bare copper/green/transparent with green interior wire.
Twist the ends of the wire pairs together, and then twist on a wire connector. Make sure all twists are in the same direction. If there is no
ground wire (green or copper) from the junction box, locate ground screw (E) on mounting strap (B) and wrap the xture’s ground wire
around the green ground screw (E). Use a screwdriver to secure ground screw (E) onto mounting strap (B). Tuck all wires neatly into the
junction box.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
4. Place the frame (G) over the mounting strap (B) so that mounting screws (A) protrude out from the frame (G). Secure the frame (G)
against the wall by threading deco nut (H) over the exposed threads of mounting screws (A).
Install light bulbs (not provided) into sockets (I) and in accordance with the xture’s specications. Do not exceed maximum
recommended wattage.
Your installation is now complete. Turn on the power and test the xture.
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the xture
with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

• ALL INSTALLATION WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL.
• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
