CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
2.Carefullyattachtheglass(L)tothexturebyplacingglass(L)overthetopthecap(O)
andslidingglassdownthecapandoverthexturebodyuntilsnug.Gravitynowsecuresthe
glass(L)tothextureviatensionandpressureoncap(O).Measuretodeterminethecorrect
lengthofchainneededforproperhangingheight.Ifnecessary,useapairofplierstoopenand
removeanyexcesschain.Attacheachofthechainconnectors(M&J)toeachendofchain
(K)beforeattachingoneendofthechainconnector/chaintotoploop(N).Connecttheother
chainconnector(J)tothecanopyloop(H).Closethechainconnectors(M&J)tosecure.Feed
thexture’swiresfromtoploop(N)upthroughthechain(K)(everythreelinksorso),pullingthe
wiresuntiltaut.Gentlyslidecanopyloopcollar(I)andcanopy(G)downontothechain/wires.
Trimexcesswiresleavingabout8to10inchesforlater.
CONNECTING THE WIRES
3.Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompletingthewiring.Refertothewiringdiagramandattachthexture’swiresto
thepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.ConnectHottoHot(transparentwirewithblackinnerthread,black,orsmoothwire)Neutral
toNeutral(transparentwirewithwhiteinnerthread,white,orribbedwire),andGroundtoGround(transparentwirewithgreeninnerthread,
greenwire,orcopper).Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.Makesurealltwistsareinthesame
direction.Ifthereisnohousegroundwirecomingfromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onthemountingbracket/mountingstrap
andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegroundscrew.Useascrewdrivertotightenthetopofgroundscrew(E)ontothewiresandinto
themountingbracket/mountingstrap.Tuckthewiresintothejunctionbox.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
4.Pushcanopy(G)uptotheceilingandslidecanopyloopcollar(I)upbeneaththecanopy.Tightlythreadcanopyloopcollar(I)onto
canopyloop(H)tosecurecanopy(G)inplaceuntilsnugagainsttheceiling.
Installlightbulbs(notincluded)intothesocketinaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximum
recommended wattage.
Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above. Shut off the
power at the circuit breaker and completely remove the old xture from the wall, including
the old mounting strap.
1.Fromthepartsbagremovethemountingstrap(A)assembly.Oneendofnipple(F)shouldbe
attachedtomountingstrap(A)withwasher(C)andhexnut(D)inplace.Theotherendshould
havecanopyloop(H)attached.Attachmountingstrap(A)tothejunctionboxusingmounting
screws(B)andascrewdriver.Tightensecurely.Unscrewcanopyloopcollar(I)fromcanopyloop
(H).Passcanopy(G)overthemountedcanopylooptotesttheheight.Approximatelyhalfofthe
canopyloop’sexteriorthreadsshouldbeexposed,andthecanopyloopcollarshouldtsnugly
ontothecanopyloop.Removecanopy(G)andadjusttheheightofnipple(F)andcanopyloop
(H)untilthedesiredheightisreached.Pullhousewiresformthecenterofmountingstrap(A).
