CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
2.Carefullyattachtheglass(L)tothexturebyplacingglass(L)overthetopthecap(O)
andslidingglassdownthecapandoverthexturebodyuntilsnug.Gravitynowsecuresthe
glass(L)tothextureviatensionandpressureoncap(O).Measuretodeterminethecorrect
lengthofchainneededforproperhangingheight.Ifnecessary,useapairofplierstoopenand
removeanyexcesschain.Attacheachofthechainconnectors(M&J)toeachendofchain
(K)beforeattachingoneendofthechainconnector/chaintotoploop(N).Connecttheother
chainconnector(J)tothecanopyloop(H).Closethechainconnectors(M&J)tosecure.Feed
thexture’swiresfromtoploop(N)upthroughthechain(K)(everythreelinksorso),pullingthe
wiresuntiltaut.Gentlyslidecanopyloopcollar(I)andcanopy(G)downontothechain/wires.
Trimexcesswiresleavingabout8to10inchesforlater.
CONNECTING THE WIRES
3.Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompletingthewiring.Refertothewiringdiagramandattachthexture’swiresto
thepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.ConnectHottoHot(transparentwirewithblackinnerthread,black,orsmoothwire)Neutral
toNeutral(transparentwirewithwhiteinnerthread,white,orribbedwire),andGroundtoGround(transparentwirewithgreeninnerthread,
greenwire,orcopper).Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.Makesurealltwistsareinthesame
direction.Ifthereisnohousegroundwirecomingfromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onthemountingbracket/mountingstrap
andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegroundscrew.Useascrewdrivertotightenthetopofgroundscrew(E)ontothewiresandinto
themountingbracket/mountingstrap.Tuckthewiresintothejunctionbox.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
4.Pushcanopy(G)uptotheceilingandslidecanopyloopcollar(I)upbeneaththecanopy.Tightlythreadcanopyloopcollar(I)onto
canopyloop(H)tosecurecanopy(G)inplaceuntilsnugagainsttheceiling.
Installlightbulbs(notincluded)intothesocketinaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximum
recommended wattage.
Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above. Shut off the
power at the circuit breaker and completely remove the old xture from the wall, including
the old mounting strap.
1.Fromthepartsbagremovethemountingstrap(A)assembly.Oneendofnipple(F)shouldbe
attachedtomountingstrap(A)withwasher(C)andhexnut(D)inplace.Theotherendshould
havecanopyloop(H)attached.Attachmountingstrap(A)tothejunctionboxusingmounting
screws(B)andascrewdriver.Tightensecurely.Unscrewcanopyloopcollar(I)fromcanopyloop
(H).Passcanopy(G)overthemountedcanopylooptotesttheheight.Approximatelyhalfofthe
canopyloop’sexteriorthreadsshouldbeexposed,andthecanopyloopcollarshouldtsnugly
ontothecanopyloop.Removecanopy(G)andadjusttheheightofnipple(F)andcanopyloop
(H)untilthedesiredheightisreached.Pullhousewiresformthecenterofmountingstrap(A).
