IMPORTANT:
• ALL INSTALLATION WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL.
• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes
above.Removetheoldxturefromtheceiling,includingtheold
mountingstrap.
1.Takethemountingstrapassemblyfromthepartsbag.Mounting
strap(B)containsthreadedholes.Twoofmountingscrews(A)should
beattachedtomountingstrap(B).Youmayneedtotightennuts(C)that
hold these screws in place.
2.Placemountingstrap(B)overthejunctionboxsothatmounting
screws(A)arevertical,andinalignmentwiththeholelocationsonthe
xture’scanopy(F).Securemountingstrap(B)tothejunctionboxwith
mountingscrews(D)andascrewdriver.Tightenthescrewssecurely.
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
7.Pushcanopy(F)uptotheceilingandtightlythreadnuts(H)ontotheexposedthreadsofmountingscrews(A).
8.Installlightbulb(M-notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumwattage.
9.Carefullypushglassshade(K)upoverthebulbandsecuretheshadeinplacebytighteningscrews(L)intotheholesintopcap(J).
10.Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
3.Bymeasuring,determinethedesiredoverallheightofyourxtureand
determine how much of the woven fabric cord is needed to achieve the
desiredheight.
4.Toshortenthexture,addatleast8to10inchestoyourdesired
lengthbeforetrimmingthecord.
5.Pushthefabriccordthroughthecenterofthecanopy.Lockthecord
in place with screw (I).
CONNECTING THE WIRES
6.Refertothewiringdiagramandattachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.ConnectHottoHot,Neutral
toNeutral,andGroundtoGround.Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.Makesurealltwistsare
inthesamedirection.Ifthereisnohousegroundwirecomingfromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onthemountingbracket/
mountingstrapandwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegroundscrew.Useascrewdrivertotightenthetopofgroundscrew(E)
ontothewiresandintothemountingbracket/mountingstrap.Tuckthewiresintothejunctionbox.
