6 Preparation
To set the audio output caliber, read the User‘s manual of the source device.
We recommend making sure, that the same high resolution, color depth and audio
caliber are supported by the connected source and output devices.
7 Connection, Implementing and Operation
1. Connect the output devices (e.g. HDTV) to the outputs of the 4K/2K Splitter with a
HDMI
TM
cable. After connecting the output devices, the corresponding channel LED will
ash on green.
2. Connect the source device (e.g. DVD Player) to the input of the 4K/2K Splitter with a
HDMI
TM
cable. The signal LED will ash on red.
3. Connect the power supply of the splitter to the DC socket.
4. Primary switch on the splitter before switching on source device and output devices.
All channel LEDs ash on green for a short time before they change to a durable
illumination on the allocated ports.
In case of a not ashing channel LED, this channel can be damaged.Please read the
instructions of chapter “Troubleshooting” or contact your dealer.
8 Care, Maintenance, Storage, and Transport
ATTENTION! There is a risk of electric shock and short circuit!
Remove the mains plug from mains! Use a dry and soft cloth to clean your product, or
use a slightly moist cloth for heavy stains. Look out for live cables of your device during
cleaning!
Attend avoiding risks of stumbling by installing the cables.
Make sure there is sufcient space around the system to ensure proper ventilation, and
check the clearance of the system, if necessary.
Avoid places with high temperatures, humidity, or places which can become wet, also
during care, maintenance, storage, and transport.
Drill holes are still visible on the wall after the device and the wall installation kit is
removed. After use for a longer time period, a spot may remain on the wall.
Follow the safety symbols on the packing during transport.
