Our!murals!are!suitable!for!interior!installations!only.!They!can!be!integrated!into!a!kitchen!
backsplash!or!wine!cellar!grotto;!or,!if!anchored!properly!for!their!weight,!they!can!be!hung!from!a!
wall.!!!

Before!installing,!rub!a!small!amount!of!baby!oil!on!the!mural!with!a!soft!cloth!to!protect!the!
lacquer.!This!lubrication!will!protect!the!pieces!from!adhesives!during!installation.!!

• Rubber)Cement!(a#good#option#is#Elmer#́s).#Apply#at#least#two#heavy#coats#to#the#back#
surface!of!the!mural.!

• Thin-Set)Mortar)(or!any!comparable!high-grade!thin!set!mortar,!like!Laticrete!254!Platinum!
Multipurpose).)

Remove!excess!mortar!by!using!water!only.!All!mortar!must!be!removed!from!the!surface!of!the!
mural!before!it!dries!to!prevent!removing!the!lacquer!coat!and!scratching!the!copper!finish.!Acid!
or!other!chemicals!used!may!destroy!the!protective!coat!and!change!the!color!of!the!metal.!Do!not!
use!harsh!chemicals!to!remove!excess!mortar.!

Our!murals!are!sealed!with!a!low-maintenance!clear!coating!which!provides!excellent!resistance!to!
oxidation,!food!spatter,!and!stains.!!!

• To)clean!the!mural,!wipe!with!a!soft,!clean,!dry!cloth.!!
!
• To)remove)grease!or!other!food!products,!wipe!the!mural!with!a!damp!soft!cloth!or!sponge!
using!mild!detergent.!Rinse!with!clean!water!and!wipe!dry!with!a!soft!cloth.!

CAUTION)
• The!mural!is!NOT!recommended!for!exterior!use.!!
• Murals!should!NOT!be!exposed!to!a!direct!contact!heat!of!over!122°F!(50°C)!i.e.!do!not!install!
on!a!chimney!or!oven!wall!that!heats!up.!The!wall!above!a!stove!should!be!fine.!

NOTE:!Use!of!abrasive!cleaners,!powders,!scouring!pads,!steel!wool,!etc.,!will!damage!the!finish.!!Also,!do!
not!use!harsh!chemicals!such!as!Pine!Sol,!Lysol!or!bleach.!
