TDD LTE configuration setup for SAR measurement
SAR was tested with a fixed periodic duty factor according to the highest transmission duty factor implemented for the
device and supported by 3GPP.
d. 3GPP TS 36.211 section 4.2 for Type 2 Frame Structure and Table 4.2-2 for uplink-downlink configurations
e. “special subframe S” contains both uplink and downlink transmissions, it has been taken into consideration to
determine the transmission duty factor according to the worst case uplink and downlink cyclic prefix requirements
for UpPTS
f. Establishing connections with base station simulators ensure a consistent means for testing SAR and
recommended for evaluating SAR. The Anritsu MT8820C (firmware: #22.52#004) was used for LTE output
power measurements and SAR testing.
