1. The following tests were conducted according to the test requirements outlines in 3GPP TS 34.121 specification.
2. The procedures in KDB 941225 D01v03r01 are applied for 3GPP Rel. 6 HSPA to configure the device in the required
sub-test mode(s) to determine SAR test exclusion.
3. For DC-HSDPA, the device was configured according to the H-Set 12, Fixed Reference Channel (FRC) configuration
in Table C.8.1.12 of 3GPP TS 34.121-1, with the primary and the secondary serving HS-DSCH Cell enabled during the
power measurement.
A summary of these settings are illustrated below:
HSDPA Setup Configuration:
a. The EUT was connected to Base Station Agilent E5515C referred to the Setup Configuration.
b. The RF path losses were compensated into the measurements.
c. A call was established between EUT and Base Station with following setting:
i. Set Gain Factors (β

) and parameters were set according to each
ii. Specific sub-test in the following table, C10.1.4, quoted from the TS 34.121
iii. Set RMC 12.2Kbps + HSDPA mode.
iv. Set Cell Power = -86 dBm
v. Set HS-DSCH Configuration Type to FRC (H-set 1, QPSK)
vi. Select HSDPA Uplink Parameters
vii. Set Delta ACK, Delta NACK and Delta CQI = 8
viii. Set Ack-Nack Repetition Factor to 3
ix. Set CQI Feedback Cycle (k) to 4 ms
x. Set CQI Repetition Factor to 2
xi. Power Ctrl Mode = All Up bits
d. The transmitted maximum output power was recorded.
