There are two components to operate the ladder: adjustable hinges and rail
locks. The adjustable hinges allow the ladder to be used in four different
configurations shown below. The rail locks allow the outer sections to slide
between different height adjustments of one-foot increments on either side
of the ladder.

Hay dos componentes para usar la escalera: bisagras ajustables y bloqueos
de riel. Las bisagras ajustables permiten usar la escalera en las cuatro
configuraciones diferentes que se muestran más abajo. Los bloqueos de riel
permiten que las secciones exteriores se deslicen entre los diferentes ajustes
de altura en intervalos de un pie a cada lado de la escalera.
