Before the rst use
Before using the appliance you must:
unpack the scope of supply,
clean the appliance (see the chapter "Cleaning and storage").
Unpacking
ATTENTION!
Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is a risk of suf-
focation!
Unpack all parts and check the scope of supply for completeness (see the chapter "Scope
of supply and equipment overview") and for transport damage. If there is any damage to
some of the parts, do not use them(!), but contact our customer service .
Use
ATTENTION!
Make sure that the rotary switch for setting the speed levels is in the 0 position be-
fore you connect the device to the mains.
Do not switch on the device as long as the tilting mixer head is in an upright position.
Never operate the device without food. This might result in the device overheating
or damage to the motor.
Danger of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep body parts, hair, jewellery, and
clothing away from the device during use so that nothing can get caught in rotating
device parts.
Caution – danger of scalding! Do not use any hot food in the device as it could spurt
out during use.
Do not use any additional accessories. Only use accessories supplied by the manu-
facturer.
Do not over ll the mixing bowl. This might result in the device overheating or dam-
age to the motor.
The device is equipped with overload protection that deactivates the device when
it overloads. If this occurs, immediately disconnect the plug from the socket and let
the device cool off for approximately 10 minutes. Afterwards, the device is ready for
use again.
Always assemble the device in full before you connect it to the mains power.
Do not leave the device unattended during operation!
During operation, keep children and animals away from the device in order to avoid
injury or damage to materials and the device itself!
Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before each exchange of the inserts.
