ASSEMBLY BEFORE USE

1. Place the Pressure Cooker Base on a at, stable surface. If the countertop

may possibly be damaged by heat, use a trivet positioned under the Base

for safety (See Fig.1).

2. To open the Lid, rmly grasp the Lid handle and rotate clockwise until the

arrow on the Lid is positioned over the “Open” indicator on the Base (See

Fig. 2). Lift the Lid straight up and remove from the Base.

Note: When the Lid is NOT fully opened or closed, the indicator Pin will

be extended (see image at left). When the Lid is in an opened or closed

position, the indicator Pin will be ush with the Lid handle.

3. Remove the Inner Pot from the Base. Grasp the Lip of the Inner Pot and lift

straight up until it clears the Base.

4. Clean the Inner Pot and Lid with a warm, soapy cloth and dry well.
