Match the height (from the
floor) of the bottom grip
mounting hole position for
the active handleset. Place
the flat side of the plastic
template against the door,
with the bottom hole B at
this height. Mark the other
two B holes, and drill a
1/4” hole through the door
at all three locations.
Intall screw
extenders
into
exterior
plate.
Tighten
securely.

plate
on the
outside
of the
door.

Insert
bottom grip
mounting
screw.
Tighten
screw
securely.
Install the
mounting
screw
cover.

Dummy Door Outside
Insert dummy cylinder
into exterior plate.
Mark the mounting
screw hole.
Remove the dummy
cylinder and drill a 1/8”
hole 3/4” deep into
the door.
Mount the dummy cylinder
with the 1” wood screw
(part #2) and tighten
securely.

Carefully place
the cylinder cover
(part #1) onto the
dummy cylinder
(part #3).
Use a miniature
screwdriver
to bend the
retaining tabs.

Attach
tall plate
with included
screws.
Tighten screws
securely.

Install the latch strike on
the dummy door.
Latch and deadbolt
strikes included
with active handleset.
