ENCODING CONFIG
Encoding Config page is as shown in figure 42 below, users can set the Channel Name and define where
and when to display it .

Selection:
Select the channel to apply encoding settings
 Channel Name:
Set the name the channel displays on the preview screen
 Display Time:
Set whether to display Time name on the preview screen
 Display
Channel Name:
Set whether to display channel name on the preview screen
 Position:
Set the location the time/ channel name display on the preview screen: upper left
corner, lower left corner.
 Record Audio:
Set whether to record audio when recording
 Mainstream:
Set the mainstream parameters
 sub-stream:
Set the sub-stream parameters
 Encoding
Mode:
H.264
 Resolution:
Mainstream resolution type is the encoding configuration of remote IPC. Support all
IPC no higher than 2043*1536 resolution.
 Stream Control:
Including Instant bit rate and Variable bit rate. Users could not set the image quality
within Instant bit rat. When it refers to variable, image quality is optional. Set the
image quality according to the scope IPC provides.
 Image Quality:
Set according to the scope IPC provides within variable bit rate.
 Bit Rate （ kpbs ） :
Set bit rate to change the image quality, larger rate would bring better quality. The
reference range is 256 ~ 8192 Kbps.
