SYSTEM SETTINGS
System Settings include Basic Settings, Display Settings, Local View Control, HDD Management, User
Management .
BASIC SETTINGS
Basic settings page is shown in figure 56 below, users could set Record File Size, Live View Performance,
language, Time Zone, etc.

 Language:
Set the language the unit displays
 Logout when idle:
Users need to login again to make operations other than preview
 Set the time:
Users could set time manually or obtain time automatically from the NTP server
 Manually:
Set time in the drop-down box
 Obtain
Automatically:
Obtain time automatically from the NTP server
 Synchronize IPC
time:
Synchronize the time on the GVR3550 with the one on the connected PC
 Time Zone:
Select the time zone of the GVR3550 manually
 Manual set time:
Input the system time of the GVR3550 manually
 Record File
size(Clip/Backup)
:
Set the file size of the clip record and backup record, 256M and 512M is optional,
the default one is 256M.
 Live View
Performance:
Set the size to 256 M, 512 M and 1 G, the default value is 256 M.
 Play
Performance:
Set the playback performance to least delay(Real-time video images), best
fluency(Fluency of video images) and balanced.

Saving Path:
Set the default path to save the snapshots file when preview and playback
 Records and
Playback Clips
Set the default path to save the clipping file when playback
