5. Click Yes to confirm modification.
6. Click Confirm to close the configuration dialog.
NOTE:
The file uploaded to the server directory should be the .bin file after decompression.
CONFIGURING HTTP SERVER
In this chapter, we take using Apache HTTP Server 2.2 server in windows XP to introduce the procedures of
configuring HTTP server.
Users could obtain the Apache HTTP server installation software via http://httpd.apache.org, please finish the
default installation according to the setup wizard.
1. Enable Apache server. Go to Start > All Programs > Apache HTTP Server 2.2 > Monitor Apache
Servers in PC which has installed Apache server.The icon in the notification area of taskbar
indicates Apache server is already enabled. It it displays , select Start to enable the server.
2. Put the prepared file to the following path:
Installation Path \ Apache Software Foundation \ Apache2.2 \ htdocs.
NOTE:
If the prepared file is directly being put under the folder htdocs, the URL format that to access to the
Apache server is: http:// The IP address that installed with Apache server .I.g.: http://192.169.1.51
If the prepared file is put under the subfolder of htdocs, the URL format that to access to the Apache
server is: http:// The IP address that installed with Apache server/subfolder Name. I.g.:
http://192.169.1.51/filename
