UPDATE WITH TFTP SERVER
1. Extract the firmware file, set the folder to save firmware file to the root directory of TFTP server.
2. Connect the PC with TFTP server and the GVR3550 to the same LAN.
3. Open TFTP server and go to File menu->Configure->Security to set Transmission Only.
4. Open TFTP server and set the update type to TFTP Transmission in Advanced Settings page of the
GVR3550.
5. Set the firmware server path as the PC address, which is the TFTP server IP address.
6. Click Start Update and the device would restart automatically after the completion of the upgrade.
UPDATE WITH HTTP/HTTPS SERVER
1. Extract the firmware file and place it under the htdocs directory of TFTP server.
2. Open TFTP server and set the update type to TFTP Transmission in Advanced Settings page of the
GVR3550.
3. Set the firmware server path as the PC address, which is the TFTP server IP address.
4. Click Start Update and the device would restart automatically after the completion of the upgrade.
MANUAL UPDATE
The procedures to manual update with downloaded firmware file:
1. Set the update mode to Manual Upload on the Advanced System Settings page of the GVR3550.
2. Click on the File button in the firmware path entry to select firmware file.
3. Click the Confirm button to upload firmware as shown in figure 90.

4. The upgrade process would begin automatically after the success file upload. The system will
automatically restart once upgrade finished.
