MULTICAST GROUP
When access GVR3550 via remote network to make real-time preview, if the users access exceed the maximum
network bandwidth, users will unable to preview, set multicast IP to save the problem.
multicast IP is D type IP address, the range is 224.0.0.0239.255.255.255. It is recommended to use address
between 239.252.0.0 and 239.255.255.255.

GVR3550/GVR3552 security settings page is as shown in figure 55.

802.1x MODE
GVR3550/GVR3552 supports MD5 and EAP (PEAP).
Authentication: Set whether to to enable/disable 802.1x mode. Configures 802.1x authentication identity and
other parameters when connecting to PBX. The default setting is "disabled".
When set authentication to "MD5", once enabled, the user would be required to enter the identity and MD5
password to be authenticated on the network.
When set authentication to "Protected EAP (PEAP)", once enabled, the user would be required to upload CA
certificate and enter the identity and EAP (PEAP) password to be authenticated on the network.
