802.1X Settings
IEEE 802.1X is an IEEE standard for port-based network access control. It provides an authentication
mechanism to device before the device can access Internet or other LAN resources. The GXW450X
supports 802.1X as a supplicant/client to be authenticated. The following diagram and figure show the
GXW450X uses 802.1X mode “EAP-MD5” on WAN port as client in the network to access Internet.
