This is accomplished by selecting the “Contrast” line
using the arro
w buttons cd of the left or right-hand
four-way button:

Press the central SET button of the right-hand four-way

utton: the value fi eld is now highlighted, and you can
adjust the screen contrast within the range +/- 20 using
the arrow buttons of the right-hand four-way button:
Simultaneously pressing the arrow buttons cd or ef
of the right-hand four-way button (CLEAR) resets the
value in the highlighted fi eld to “0”.

This line determines how long the screen backlighting
remains on when y
ou switch the transmitter on, and
after the last button-press.
The available values are “unlimited” “30 s”, 60 s” and
“120 s”.
Simultaneously pressing the arrow buttons cd or ef
of the right-hand four-way button (CLEAR) resets the
value in the highlighted fi eld to “unlimited”.

The purpose of the country setting is to fulfi l the require-
ments of various directives (FCC, ETSI, IC, etc.). For
example, radio control systems operated in France must
be set to a restricted frequency band. For this reason
the transmitter’s country setting MUST be set to
“France” mode before the system is used in that
country. It is prohibited to use the Universal / EURO
mode in France.
Simultaneously pressing the arrow buttons cd or ef
of the right-hand four-way button (CLEAR) resets the
value in the highlighted fi eld to “Euro”.

In this line you can defi ne the volume of the speech
output which is gener
ated through earphones when the
optional earphone socket, Order No. 33001.71, is fi tted;
the available range is “0” to “10”.
