Assembly Instructions FLO-BAC Parts Washers
Assembly
Numbers in parenthesis refer to
drawings
I. Remove Drain Plug- 1” NPT. Insert 3
½” length of NPT pipe (1). This will be
the return to the pump container.
II. Screw the pipe “T” (2) to the pump
discharge pipe, screw nipples into
each end of the “T”.
III. Connect the flexible metal hose (3) to
the left rear of the tank as show in the
drawing, using the 90
0
elbow on the
outside.
IV. Connect red hose (4-RED) to the pistol
grip gun (5) and other end to the “T
outlet (2) closest to the right side of the
tank. Connect the black hose (4-
BLACK) to the other “T” outlet and the
flexible metal nozzle fitting on the back
left hand corner of the tank.
V. Attach the hook for the pistol grip
nozzle(5) on right hand side of tank
VI. Slip the pump unit under the tank and,
as you do so, slip the red tube over the
return tank (6). When the tub is in the
correct position, the tab will drop into
the screen to direct the cleaning fluid
back into the container. The switch will
be in a forward position (see View ‘A’)
VII. An extra 1” NPT x 5” pipe (7) is
provided. This may be used as a
stand-pipe inside the tank to build up
the liquid level. If this is done, be sure
the pipe is tight. Use pipe joint
compound. Other lengths may be
used. When standpipe is used, the
solvent requirement will increase by
the amount in the soak tank.
Now make sure all fittings are tight, that
there is cleaning fluid in your container
and your electrical cord is plugged in.
It is advisable to ground tanks if they are
to be used on wooden floors even if they
do not include a motor.
If you start with an empty container, pour
five gallons of fluid into the tank. It will
run into the pump container (if no
standpipe is used). If standpipe is used,
fill to the top of the pipe and then add
five gallons more.
