Advice for firefighters
l
Non-combustible, substance itself does not burn but may decompose upon heating to
produce corrosive and/or toxic fumes.
l
Wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
Section 6 - Accidental Release Measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Personal Precautions
l
Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Wear appropriate personal protective

Section 7 - Handling and Storage
Precautions for safe handling
Handling
l
Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Avoid breathing dust. To minimize dust

children. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid humid, wet or moist conditions. Keep
away from incompatible materials such as reducing agents. Do not blend or store in
contact with ammonium nitrate.
