8 STORING THE MOWER When your lawn mower is not in use, it will be necessary to follow proper safety procedures for storage. The following steps should be taken in order to prepare the lawn mower for storage: 1. Remove the battery pack from the mower and store it at room temperature in a dry location. 2. Clean the mower as previously described in the maintenance section. 3. Inspect the blade and replace or sharpen it if required. 4. Lubricate the mower. 5. Store the mower in a dry, clean location.
