INSTALLING THE BATTERY PACK (See Figure 6.)
• Align the battery with the battery opening.
• Insert battery pack into tool until an audible "click" is heard.
REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK (See Figure 6.)
• Depress the battery release button (1) in the back of the battery pack and pull battery pack out
of tool.

STARTING AND STOPPING THE TRIMMER (See Figure 7.)
• Press the lock-off lever (2). Squeeze the switch trigger (3) to start.
• Release the switch trigger to stop.
