Application
Operation is possible in conjunction with:
Pressurized storage heaters
Thermally controlled instantaneous heaters
Hydraulically controlled instantaneous heaters
Operation with low-pressure storage heaters (displacement
water heaters) is not possible.

Note
Major pressure differences between cold and hot water supply
should be avoided.
Installation
See dimensional drawing on fold-out page I.
Flush piping system prior and after installation of faucet
thoroughly!
Side valves, see fold-out page II, Fig. [1a/b] and [2a/b].

1. Screw the mounting set (A) to the bottom of the thread of the
side valve (B), see Fig. [1a].
Make sure that the rubber washer (A1) is on the top of the
fiber washer (A2).
2. Insert the side valve (B) through the basin hole from below.
3. Place the rubber washer (C1) on the basin and screw down
the screw cover (C) until it stops.
Observe the correct installation position of the screw
cover (C).
4. Screw ceramic cartridge (D) using a 17mm socket wrench.
5. Fit escutcheon (E).
6. Screw the cap (F) down to the screw cover (C).
7. Secure snap insert (G) with screw (H) to the stem of the
ceramic cartridge (D), see Fig. [2a].
8. Tighten the mounting set (A) from below to secure the valve.
9. Fit handle (I) and tighten set screw (I1) with 2mm allen
wrench.

1. Screw the mounting set (A) to the bottom of the thread of the
side valve (B), see Fig. [1b].
2. Insert the side valve (B) through the basin hole from below.
3. Place the rubber washer (C1) on the basin and screw down
the screw cover (C) using a 38mm socket wrench until it
stops.
Observe the correct installation position of the screw
cover (C).
4. Screw ceramic cartridge (D) using a 17mm socket wrench.
5. Fit escutcheon (E).
6. Fit slide ring (J).
7. Screw spindle extension (K) using a 30mm socket wrench.
8. Remove slide ring (J).
9. Secure snap insert (G) with screw (H) to the stem of the
ceramic cartridge (D), see Fig. [2b].
10. Tighten the mounting set (A) from below to secure the
valve.
11. Fit handle (I).
Spout, see Fig. [3].
Observe the correct installation position of the
escutcheon (L).
When assembling, the waste rod (M) has to be placed into the
body.
Fit pop-up drain (28 957), see fold-out page I, ensure that
flange of pop-up drain is sealed.
Connect wideset, see Figs. [4] and [5].
Connect the side valves to the water supply. Insure the
supplied washers are used for all connections.
The hot water supply should be connected on the left side
valve and the cold water supply to the right valve.
Open cold and hot water supply and check connections
for leakage.
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and grease
with special grease.
Shut off cold and hot water supply!

1. Loosen set screw (I1) with 2mm allen wrench and pull off
handle (I).
2. Unscrew screw (H) and pull off snap insert (G).
3. Unscrew ceramic cartridge (D) using a 17mm socket
wrench.
4. Change complete ceramic cartridge (D) or O-ring (D1).

1. Pull off handle (I).
2. Unscrew spindle extension (K) using a 30mm socket
wrench.
3. Change complete ceramic cartridge (D) or O-ring (D1).
Observe the different replacement part numbers of the
cartridges, see fold-out page I.
II. Restrictor, see fold-out page II, Fig. [7].
1. Unscrew nut (N).
2. Clean or change restrictor (O).
III. Replacing the filter (P), see fold-out page II, Fig. [7].
Assemble in reverse order.
