Gateways
The gateway settings should be automatically loaded by your network
service provider, however, you may also manually add gateway
settings from this screen.
Note: Gateway settings are normally loaded into your Smartphone
automatically by your network service provider prior to pur-
chase. You should only change these settings when requested
to do so by your network service provider.
To add a new gateway
In the Advanced Settings, select [Gateway] and press to add a
new gateway.
• Name: Choose a name for the gateway and press to save.
• Active: Select [Yes]/[No]. Choose Yes to make this gateway
available for participation in routing. Otherwise, choose No.
• WAP default: Select [Yes]/[No]. Choose Yes to make this a
default WAP Gateway. Otherwise, choose No.
• MMS default: Select [Yes]/[No]. Choose Yes to make this a
default MMS Gateway. Otherwise, choose No.
• Gateway address: Enter the IP address for the gateway, you may
obtain this information from your network service provider.
• Connection Mode: Select [Oriented]/[Less]. Choose Oriented to
use the connection oriented protocol (the default), or Less to
