4.4 Usage of Euler’s pump equation
There is a close connection between the impeller geometry, Euler’s pump
equation and the velocity triangles which can be used to predict the impact
of changing the impeller geometry on the head.
The individual part of Euler’s pump equation can be identified in the outlet
velocity triangle, see figure 4.9.
This can be used for making qualitative estimates of the eect of changing
impeller geometry or rotational speed.
