PREPARATION______________________________ 1 Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the device. 2 I nsert two batteries (micro type, 1.5 V, LR 06/ AM3/AA) in the battery compartment. Make sure the polarity of the battery is as marked on the bottom of the compartment. 3 Push the battery compartment cover back in. 10 ENGLISH Note: 7 If you are not going to use the device for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the compartment. Remove a flat battery immediately.
RADIO MODE_______________________________ 1 Turn »ON/OFF« to the left to switch on the device. 2 You can connect the earphones to the »0« socket. 5 Use »TUNING« to tune to a station. 6 Turn »ON/OFF« to the right to switch off the device. 3 Adjust the volume with »VOL C«. 4 Use »FM•BAND•MW« to select the frequency band (FM or MW). – The radio has a built-in rod antenna for MW reception. Turn the device to point the antenna.
GENERAL INFORMATION____________________ Stereo earphone volume Excessive volume can be dangerous to yourself and other road users. Listen at a volume which allows you to hear outside noises such as horns, emergency vehicles and police cars. The type plate is located on the back of the device. Cleaning Do not use any cleaning agent, as this may damage the casing. Clean the device with a clean, moist leather cloth. Technical data Batteries: 2 x 1.5V, LR 06/AM3/AA.
